Associate Director - Medical Communications Agency



Here is an opportunity to join a boutique agency with a great heritage in a leadership role. Our client a Public Relations and Public Affairs communications agency has a requirement t the Associate Director level to be based in their London office.

They specialize in healthcare, pharmaceutical and consumer health public relations and public affairs, and their client portfolio includes many of the world’s leading healthcare companies. The company has grown considerably in recent years but still occupies a distinct position in the marketplace for clients seeking both the staff experience of a full-service agency and the customized service offering of a healthcare boutique.



The role will involve working on UK and pan-European accounts, in a fast-paced environment to assist clients with their external public relations and communications activities. This crucial role will support the Managing Director to lead a small team of Healthcare PR professionals to deliver quality service to their current client portfolio and provide support with new business initiatives. Applicants should be down-to-earth self starters with a creative and out-going personality. Excellent writing and media relations skills combined with previous agency experience in the areas of ethical, pharmaceutical, product PR or diagnostics would be advantageous. Candidates should be enthusiastic about joining a small boutique agency with the aim of helping them to establish their brand in the London market and support the expansion of their client roster. You will be the main senior day to day contact for clients and should be comfortable with providing strategic counsel and leading new business opportunities.
